Comcast Breaks Ground to Expand High-Speed Internet to Napavine, Washington
Nearly 1,000 Homes and Businesses Will Be Connected to
America’s Smartest and Most Reliable Converged WiFi Network for the First Time
NAPAVINE, Washington – July 27, 2026 – Comcast today announced it is expanding its network to Napavine, bringing nearly 1,000 previously underserved homes and businesses access to multi‑gigabit, symmetrical Internet from America’s smartest and most reliable converged network. Construction is underway and is expected to be completed in 2027. Napavine will join the tens of thousands of homes and businesses in Lewis County, and more than 65 million homes and businesses nationwide with access to a network that fuels innovation, productivity, and everyday connection. Comcast’s expansion to Napavine is part of the company’s latest investment in Washington state, which also includes extending its network to Cheney, Duvall, Four Lakes, Key Peninsula, and more.

Comcast’s Investment in Lewis County
Comcast’s network expansion in Napavine is the latest example of the company’s investment made in Lewis County. Earlier this year, Comcast opened its first Xfinity Store in Chehalis at Twin City Town Center West, located at 1433 NW Louisiana Avenue, giving locals a convenient spot to explore the latest in connectivity and entertainment. The company also celebrated its expansion in Lewis County by sponsoring this year’s 4th of July Celebration at Stan Hedwall Park in Chehalis.
Last year, Comcast expanded reliable, high-speed Internet to 45,000 additional homes and businesses in Washington. Further, Comcast has invested $1.2 billion in network technology and infrastructure statewide in the past three years.
